Overview
The 'Fincy' project is the result of thorough research and an innovative approach to financial management through a mobile application.
Extensive research was conducted, including competitor analysis, user interviews, and prototype testing. As a result of this process, a convenient and intuitive design was developed, providing users with all the necessary tools for effective financial management.
'Fincy' offers a unique combination of functionality, attractive design, and ease of use, making financial management accessible to everyone.
INITIAL CHALLENGES
During the creation of the 'Fincy' project, we encountered several key challenges. One of the main issues was ensuring secure integration with various banking systems. Additionally, it was necessary to develop an interface that would be intuitively understandable for users of all levels. Another challenge involved ensuring the protection of users' data confidentiality when working with financial information. Despite these challenges, they were overcome by developing a convenient and secure application for financial management.
RESEARCH &
brand immersion
During the research and immersion into the 'Fincy' project brand, we thoroughly examined the competitive landscape, analysing the strengths and weaknesses of existing solutions in the financial applications market. User surveys and interviews allowed us to better understand the needs and preferences of our target audience, identify their main pain points, and desired user experience. We also carefully studied the 'Fincy' brand, its values, mission, and unique features to ensure full alignment of the design and functionality of the application with these key aspects.
user persona
FRUSTRATION
He has many apps that help him track his expenses, including banking apps, but he wants all his favourite and essential features to be in one app.
He frequently buys stocks of companies and wants this information to be available in one app along with all his accounts.
GOALS
Have a convenient app with all the necessary and favourite features that can be fully customised to one's needs.
I am a financial director, so I handle money quite carefully and thoughtfully. I often review my accounts, payment history, and expenses. I have apps that help me with all of these tasks, but there are too many of them, and I would like to have all these features in one app. Additionally, I sometimes invest in stocks and shares of different companies, so it is important for me to be able to access reports from various companies and view information about my holdings alongside my accounts, trackers, and so on.
KEY LEARNINGS
Understanding User Needs
It is important to conduct in-depth analysis of user needs and preferences to create a design that perfectly aligns with their expectations and facilitates app usage.
Balancing Functionality
& Usability
Finding the optimal balance between providing a wide range of features and ensuring simplicity and intuitive usability of the interface is crucial, allowing users to easily find and utilize features without effort.
Alignment with Brand
& Values
The app design should carefully reflect the brand identity and values of the company to create a strong and consistent impression on users and maintain their loyalty.
Continuous Testing
& Iterative Improvement
Regular testing of the design with user involvement and active utilization of feedback are important for continuous improvement of the interface, enhancing its effectiveness and usability.
